In a press release dated January 4th, the Cowboy Trail Tourism Association (CTTA) announced that their marketing brochure will become a part of an innovative new tourism publication called Experience Kananaskis Country & The Cowboy Trail to be produced by CMI Publishing of Calgary. 50,000 copies of Experience Kananaskis Country & The Cowboy Trail will begin appearing in Visitor Information Centres and at tourism outlets in Alberta commencing May 2013.

Neil MacLaine, CTTA President, shared his enthusiasm for this innovative collaboration by saying, “CMI delivers a level of knowledge and professionalism in publication production and distribution that surpasses what can be accomplished by a small group of volunteers. This, combined with CMI’s passion for Alberta’s western heritage and life style, makes them an ideal partner for the CTTA.”

Bob Harris, President of CMI Publishing added that, “He is proud to partner with the CTTA and with Alberta Parks to provide outdoor enthusiasts with an integrated visitors guide to the mountain and western cultures that come together uniquely along the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains in Southern Alberta.”

Response to this new project has been overwhelmingly positive. To learn more about Experience Kananaskis Country & The Cowboy Trail, please see the section on this web site entitled “Our Work”.
